It is also why God gives grace that surpasses our needs. There is grace for the demands on us, and a bit more, so we can share with others.
Needs drive us to God. That is not a bad thing! In fact, the storms of life enable us to discover God as our Refuge. We run to the shelter of His arms.
Although I can't recall who said it, I have never forgotten the statement heard decades ago, "Whatever you face today, you can always say, 'For this I have Jesus!'"
